I got the C-340 over to Aurora for them to work on a pressurization issue, and a fuel tank issue. My chase plane was a C-421, and both planes are painted very similarly. As we were taking off together, we talked on an air-to-air frequency, and I said we ought to get another plane up there sometime with us, and get in closer formation, and get some photos of the two planes together up in the air.
The guys are getting the hangar all decorated up for our hangar Christmas parties. One on Friday, one on Saturday. The lights are up around the hangar, and are going up on the planes in there the rest of this week. The T-6 has a start on it. The only bad thing about putting lights all around is that everything in the hangar is grounded until further notice. But it sure does look awesome all lit up with the lights off.
I was originally going on a Cheyenne trip to Kansas Thursday. I had four students scheduled for Thursday, so I contacted them, rearranged two of them, canceled two of them who couldn't rearrange, and got it set up. It made it a little hard for the guys to decorate for the Friday party, since we weren't going to be home until past midnight most likely Thursday night. But then tonight the flight was canceled. So, I contacted the four students again, and re-re-arranged them back onto the schedule. What do I always say? Life in aviation! :)
