Kaylee stayed home from school today as well, but she is feeling on the upswing, and will be going back to school tomorrow. She finished up a 9 page paper tonight, and had me read over it and help with some small grammar things, and has to submit it by midnight. It was a good paper. Her last paper she did for this very picky English teacher, she got an A+ on. She's never gotten an A+ before from this teacher, so that was pretty great.
I put up most of our Hangar Party photos on My Site. Two pages, set up photos, airplane photos, some people photos.
Funny Kaylee story. The other night I put some peppermint chocolate alcohol in some hot chocolate. About 30 minutes later, Kaylee pipes up from the other room and says "Hey Mom, this mint hot chocolate is really good!" I look up really fast and stare at her for a second, and she says "What??" Steve had brought home some mint hot chocolate from the airport Saturday night. No alcohol involved. That was almost a very bad parenting moment, but fortunately wasn't. ;)
Steve had a doctor's appointment, and all his bloodwork came back pretty good! So he got a clean bill of health. I should go in and do that too. One of these days.
Kaylee and I had dental appointments today. It was her first time out and about in a few days, and it was her last time ever having to have fluoride. She was excited about that. Me on the other hand, a tooth that crumbled on me the night before Thanksgiving, the same tooth I broke as a teen on a Gobstopper, is now so broken down that he's just going to put a cap/crown on it. So I have another two appointments set and another $1200 to spend on a tooth. *sigh*
