Is It Monday?

The Stants family didn't have the greatest day.  I woke up with a headache that incapacitated me until about 5 pm.  Kaylee's car battery burnt up while she was driving to school.  Her lights quit working, her gauges inside were all dead, and it "smelled really bad".  She got to school somehow, but there the car still sits.  We'd had little to no trouble with the car until she took over, and she's just had one problem after the other lately.  :(  Steve and I went out this evening to try to get it to the mechanic's shop, and couldn't even get it out of the parking lot.  Dead dead dead.  Steve got into a confrontation with the airport manager, who has now picked a fight with every major player out there, including us now.  He's threatening to do a few things, and Steve doesn't react well to blackmail or threats.  None of the people in this family do, for that matter.  So things were said on both ends, but who needs that kind of trouble right now?  So hopefully that will blow over a little bit.  If not, then I guess we get to start working on dealing with the mayor and his appointee here.  *sigh*  We're trying to get ready for the Bash, and there's still a lot to do, and tomorrow is the set up day.  Tomorrow we also need to deal with Kaylee's car, get the taxes signed, and about 100 other things.  If I wake up with another headache I'm going to just, well, I don't want to do that.  I had one flight this evening, and it went well.  I was still a little shaky, but good enough for a 172.  Got to watch another beautiful sunset, which half relaxed and half depressed me again.  ;)

Kaylee had her mini concert at the school tonight that none of us could go to because we'd already had students scheduled.  But we saw her right afterwards while getting her my car to drive while we work on hers.

So anyway, that's our day.  Tomorrow is set up day, run around day, get cash for the bash (ha), you know, all that stuff.
