First up, here are the videos from the recital. Keep in mind she has hardly had any piano lessons at all, so if you know much about piano, you know she's surprisingly far for what she's done...
The weather canceled my student's checkride, which is a bummer, moreso because he could have probably done it after all. But so it goes. The weather did allow me to run to the store and get my hair cut though, so that was helpful. I had one flight student this evening. We flew in the rain, but the clouds were high enough and visibility good enough to be safe and legal both, and I've just signed him off for his checkride too. I'll have two in a row here, and both of them are going to be good. One gets sick with too much motion, and the other gets forgetful if they get scared, but both are good at stick and rudder skills. I expect no problems from either checkride as long as they don't panic on me. :)
I ordered Japanese tonight and I must be rubbing off on Steve because he asked for a sushi roll too! Whoa.
I got a text from some warbird friends who may be spending the night on Thursday, and want to go to dinner with us. I've got a trip to NC that day, but hopefully will be back in time. I'd like to meet up with them if I can.
So, Monday was productive and fine. My computer was repaired and is home and Steve is working on getting it all set back up (that's the pain in the rear part), my couch seat is mostly repaired again, laundry is caught up, we have TP again, my dead ends are snipped, money was deposited, correspondence completed, and all in all, a pretty good Monday!
