Storm Break

I was up early this morning to fly to Greenwood with two fellas and pick up a Baron.  The Baron got to Logansport okay and then wouldn't start.  We had to jump it to get it back to Kokomo.  But finally I made it.

I then had students scheduled from 1:30 pm - midnight.  But around 5:30 pm a line of storms moved in, so I canceled the next two.  It didn't end up just being a storm, it was another tornado warning.  It fizzled and nothing bad happened, just some rain and wind, so...good enough.  I didn't mind the break--I'd been sweaty and icky since 9 am...

I'm slowly getting ready for tomorrow.  I leave at noon tomorrow.  I think the weather's okay at least, so that helps.  We leave OK at 9 pm, best guess, so I'll get home midnight-ish on Sunday night.  Tuesday I'm supposedly filming for "Across Indiana", a TV show, as I guess they're doing a day in the life of little ole me.  I wish they'd have done this last year when I was 20 pounds lighter.  If I'd have known that was coming I'd probably have done better with that.  Ugh.  Anyway.  I wish I could know ahead of time what they'll ask or what we'll do, but I'm being interviewed and followed around for a day as they film me in a Cub, the T-6 and the Cheyenne to talk about corporate flying, warbird flying, and personal fun flying.  At least that was their initial idea, we'll see what happens.  And I'll be talking about the pancake breakfast and fly-in during the warbird section, as it's tied into that.  So...wish me luck?

:O
