MAN it's cold.
No flying today, just a warm comfort food lunch at Glenndale. Kaylee had Pep band tonight, so I took her out there and back. Apparently the fake vomit was for Spanish class. They had to recreate a movie entirely in Spanish. The movie they were recreating had a vomit scene. So that's why she needed vomit. Today she told me she needed to bring a sandwich to school Monday so they could throw it at a bus. This time I did ask why, and she said it was part of the movie too. So there ya go. The vomit was a success. Someone asked me why I didn't have it smell bad too. I honestly didn't think of that, but she'd put some in her mouth to "throw it up", so had I made it nasty, it probably would have turned real. ;)
Steve learned today that the man who collapsed at Kaylee's concert is okay. He had ridden his bike for 100 miles that day (who DOES that in Dec. in Indiana?) and was severely dehydrated. So basically while sitting in the auditorium, he collapsed from dehydration and assuming exhaustion. He was taken to the hospital via ambulance, given IV fluids and will be/was just fine. Thank goodness. I couldn't get him off my mind, was really hoping somebody didn't lose a loved one in the middle of the Christmas concert.
Kaylee has Pep Band most of tomorrow, starting at noon and not ending until evening. In between she's going to a friend's house, so we'll be out at Kokomo tomorrow. If the weather holds out.
