Quickly

I have to go to bed here soon, since I have to be up at 4:45 tomorrow morning for a trip to Baltimore.  I do wish these guys liked evening trips.  ;)

As I said yesterday, I was supposed to fly the SNJ today.  We did have a direct crosswind of 18 knots, at best, worse up here, and after some deliberation, I told him I don't mind him working up to a nice crosswind, but for the first flight out of the gate I'd like to be more conservative.  He concurred since it had actually been 8 years since he'd flown the plane.  So we postponed until Friday, and hopefully the weather cooperates.  He's eager to get back in the plane and I'm eager to just get it done.  Steve said I was a wuss.  He was right this time.  That's okay, I don't mind.   I'll take a more hopefully relaxing flight Friday instead.  ;)

I've got lots and lots of BBQ Bash photos now, I put about 60 of them up on Facebook with some thank yous.  I need to put them on a website too.  Or here.  Or something.   But I'm out of time for now.

Steve and I went down to Sheridan and had dinner with the pilot's crew tonight, and had a nice evening out.  Kaylee didn't have band for once, and was able to stay home, do homework, relax, and practice her flute.  Having a whole evening to herself felt decadent and special.

Well, it's too late to be early to bed, but early to rise is coming fast.  Looks like it'll be IFR up there in the morning.  But I still get a mean crab cake while I'm at it, so hey...
