Schedule

Kaylee's first day of her Sophomore Year of High School was today!  She woke herself up, dressed up in a blue dress with a white shoulder cover, did her hair, and was off.  She said AP (Advanced Placement) History is a fantastic class with a great teacher, that Algebra 2 is going to be bad, and that everything else falls somewhere in between.  I didn't get a chance to pick her up afterwards and take her for a traditional ice cream, because I had work, but maybe tomorrow I can.  She's not ready for school to start and neither am I.  They should have another week or two of summer still.  But ready or not, here it goes!

Lon, Cathy, Rania and Tanner came through this afternoon and brought Ann back home, on their way up to visit Lon's family.  We all had pizza and ice cream and watched a little tv and talked and it was great to see everybody.  :)  Tanner and Rania had both just had their wisdom teeth removed 3-4 days ago, so they are still trying to recuperate from that one.  No fun.  I remember that. The only good news is that it should be feeling better soon here!

Steve and I both had students all day from about 8 a.m. on.  I was done around 5:30, he was done around 7:30, I brought McDonald's back to the airport for a lunch break for us both, and that was the day.  I didn't get to get a photo of Kaylee's first day, either.

In between two lessons I grabbed Walt's T-6 in order to try to determine if it 's charging properly.  Jon took a few photos as I went by.  The big versions, I can see myself pretty clearly in there.  Kind of funny.

These were posted on Warbird Digest Magazine's Facebook page from Oshkosh, and then a pic Jon took today.  I will try to get a picture of Kaylee tomorrow, but I'm not holding my breath.  :)

Me with the photographer I was taking up for Warbird Digest, to "shoot" the A-26.

The briefing on the photo shoot with the A-26 in the background.  The pilot of the A-26 is in the black shirt, John.  The owner is Tim in the brown shirt. The photog is the white shirt on the left, and I'm the photo ship pilot. Don't know the other guy. This was the last photo taken of the plane before it bellied in on the runway when the nosewheel didn't extend.

Jon took this today of me going by in Walt's T-6.
