Blip

A text conversation between me and Kaylee today.

"Mom.  If something terrible were to happen to me and I was like a vegetable, what would you do?"

"Eat you with butter and salt?"

"NOT what I meant. :/"

"Fine. I'd pull the plug and let you go, where you could be healed and free."

"Good. I'd rather have that."

So at this point, as a Mom, my mind is going to what a terrible thing it would be to have to go through that (again in a way), and I'm frowning at lunch, wondering where that came from, and the next text is
"So, can I go to the Eastern Library from 5-7 for free ice cream?"

Kids.

Yesterday I had a long IFR cross country, and we actually got well over an hour in actual, along with four instrument approaches.  Good practice.  I need to log that while I'm thinking about it.  All those approaches count towards my currency too, you know.  ;)

July is here, school starts next month, the Kokomo Airshow is in a few weeks and Oshkosh is only 3 weeks away.  Time is racing.
