Yesterday was Richard's 80th birthday! Woo-hoo! :) Tonight we had dinner over here; Steve made steaks, really good rib-eyes, I made corn, and next door they made baked potatoes and salad with "fixings", and Cathy brought the biggest lattice work apple pie I've ever seen, and we had a nice family dinner. We put "Happy Birthday" candles in the apple pie, and Cathy went to light them, and the lighter kept pooping out, so I grabbed another lighter which I couldn't get to stay lit, so finally I grabbed some good old fashioned wooden matches, and that worked. :)
Anyway, it was good to see Cathy for an evening, and we're glad we can be together for a birthday celebration. :)
