Sunday?

Felt more like a Tuesday.  Steve went flying with a student trying to get ready for a checkride in the next week, and spent most of the day with him.  I did a dual cross-country with another student out of Glenndale, and didn't get done until about 4 pm.  Kaylee wasn't feeling well today.  She slept in late, was kind of warm, and her head, throat, sinuses, all didn't feel good.  She's coughing a little, sneezing a little, and I don't know if it's allergies or a bug, or both.  So she stayed here today and rested other than when I got home and had no choice but to take her to pick up tights or leggings to go under her Gingerbread Costume.  She had to have it by tomorrow and I needed her input on them.

I'll be up at 5:30 a.m. for a trip to Birmingham tomorrow, so tonight I pulled up Garmin Pilot on my iPad to look over my weather and file my flight plan.  Garmin Pilot was locked up, wouldn't open, kept "spinning".  Steve had had the same problem with the latest Garmin Pilot update.  He had to uninstall the program and reinstall it.  I ended up having to delete it and re download it myself.  And then re-download all my maps and charts and redo my settings again.  That was really annoying.  Still better than dealing with paper, because in an hour flat I had every chart and plate in the whole country updated and in one spot a button away, but still annoying that their last update caused a temporary sit-and-spin.

Glenndale was a little wet today.  This caused some nice mud action on the airplane, all over, even though we stayed off to the side.  I took this photo and sent it to one of the guys who keeps the airplane clean, and let him know I'd left him a little job security.  He informed me that I was SO kind.  ;)
