Thanks to the weather it was a pretty relaxing day. Kaylee had her last day of school for two weeks as she is now in Fall Break. Which reminds me, we ought to try to come up with something for her to do over break. Alonna spent much of the day with Grandma and Grandpa, and I caught up on household stuff.
Ann made cheesy broccoli soup, one of our favorites, and we had soup and sandwiches for dinner together, and some special coffee, and apple pie, and then while the girls were cleaning up, they were singing songs loudly while Grandma did a little dancing, before they sat down for another round of playing "Clue". Last I heard Alonna won two games to Kaylee's one. These are the important things you know. Food, singing, playing, family. :)
Today it's been four months on my little health journey. This last month things slowed down quite a bit, but I'm up to 29.4 lbs off. If I'd been on pace I'd have been at 32, I was aiming for 30, got close. Not as much as I'd like, but at least it was still in the correct direction. We set up the treadmill on the deck a little better, and I've got it set up where I might be able to watch TV shows on my iPad while I walk, for when this winter slows down how much outside activity we can do. Still plugging along.
Tomorrow was supposed to be busy, flying with two students, then Alonna, and finally my first student in the PT-26, followed by a CAF meeting, but tomorrow's weather is 80% chance of rain and storms, which will take out all flying and probably my purpose for going down for the meeting, too.
It kind of feels like vacation almost though. :)
