Sick Kid and Logbook

Kaylee woke up feeling pretty puny this morning. She could have dragged through school, and she was willing to do it, but I decided to keep her home and give her a day to rest and hopefully get some strength. She couldn't breathe most of the night, was up half the night, etc. I don't know if she'll feel much better tomorrow, but we're going to give it a try. Poor kiddo.

I flew the 180 this afternoon for a maintenance test flight, which went fine, drove just in time to make it to Glenndale in time to fly the Champ with a tailwheel student (worked on wheel landings which is always kind of fun), left him and hopped in the 172 at Glenndale 26F) and flew it to Kokomo just in time to fly with a student in the other 172 (KS) at Kokomo, finished with her and flew 26F back to Glenndale in time to fly it with a student there, though we went to Kokomo to practice because there was so much traffic at Glenndale, and ended up putting everything away at sunset. Slow morning, busy afternoon and evening. Worked in the pattern the entire time. One in a Champ, two in 172s, one with a crosswind, from 1 p.m. to 7:30 pm with a 30 minute drive time once, I was in the pattern. And this time I’m only writing this all out because I’m a week behind on my logbook and I don’t want to forget, not because I think this is fascinating stuff. ;)

The sunset was gorgeous though.  I didn't get a photo of it, either, not when it got good.  I did get these...
