Days

My morning flight canceled because he had to work too late last night, which was a smart move on his part.  After lunch I went up in the Cub for almost two hours straight doing takeoffs and landings, and when I went to get out of the front seat my legs weren't working properly any more. Haha.  We went over to Indian Hills, and Glenndale, did some crosswind takeoffs and landings, started working on keeping it on one wheel, etc.  It was pretty fun, really.  Even if my legs went numb by the end.  :)  This evening I had a cross-country flight in the Cherokee 180, planned it out and took it to Portland, did a few takeoffs and landings, and made it home somewhere around 9 p.m.

Steve has tonight to get everything ready for Warsaw's Airshow, which starts Tomorrow.  He has more to do than he has time to do it.  I tried to help with one slide that he needs, but I ended up having to free hand draw on it, and we all know I can't draw, and it looks worse than what Kaylee would probably do, but it was the best I could do, so folks will just have to deal with it!  It'll just be one quick slide out of many, so hopefully it won't draw too much laughter.  ;)

Kaylee will be spending the weekend with a school friend.  She's supposed to pack a swimsuit and a sweatshirt, so I'm not sure what all they're going to do, but that helps us out too since we're spending the night up at Warsaw, and we'd have otherwise had to go back and forth a few times while we're supposed to be doing other things too.  I wish she could come to part of the show though--they are doing a candy drop with a DC-3, Hershey bars with parachutes, and she'd love that.  The rest of it she's seen and done a few hundred times, so that's probably better that she gets to visit with a friend instead once in awhile.

I guess tomorrow evening a lady race car driver thought it would be fun to do a race against the T-6, so we're going to give that another try.  We'll enjoy ourselves, anyway.  ;)

Guess I'd better go pack a bag for tomorrow.  Should be a fun weekend, and hopefully the weather holds out...
