Steve and I left, had a couple errands to run, and went out to Glenndale to pick up a pumpkin loaf and an Amish bread loaf from the Habits and Ron & Michelle out there. They make these for their neighbors, and I feel privileged to be considered a neighbor too! We stayed and talked a few minutes before I got a text from Kaylee that my Mom and Ernie had made it in. :)
Dinner was leftovers, but it was still pretty good to me, anyway. One more clean up, and then we all pretty much sat down and hung out the rest of the evening, a little talking, a little snacking, a little TV watching. Kaylee finished the "Divergent" series...and started it all over again. I worked on pictures, getting them resized and adjusted a bit. Tomorrow (well, technically right now) is Christmas. We realized that we never made our annual Christmas cookies, either. It's just been a seriously "off" year for traditions, that's for sure. But nobody smashed their finger in the door, no glass was broken, the hot water heater has stayed running, everybody is healthy enough to be here, we're surrounded by friends and family, and anything else is just gravy.
(Here are the cousins, almost all grown up now, and Ricky, Morgan's boyfriend.)
