Routine

It was a good morning to practice light crosswinds in the Cub, so that's what my student and I did for an hour and a half today, along with a falling leaf stall series, some ground reference maneuvers, and a landing over the trees at Indian Hills. Them trees are just getting taller all the time. ;)

Kaylee's camp is not doing a very good job of keeping parents up to date. They put up two photos from Monday, one each of a girl (neither Kaylee), from the whole cabin for the whole day. No blog update, no nothing since the campers have arrived. Not real impressive there, a little irritating. Yes, I know back in my day kids just disappeared for a week and parents didn't know or probably want to know a thing, but these days camps put up photos each day, do a Facebook entry on some activities, Facebook photos, blog entries daily, etc., and the kids have been there for 3 days now with no updates. Not cool, man. Not that I'm worried about her, I'm sure she's fine. I just like to see pictures and see what's going on, like most other parents out there with campers. :)

The rest of the day was pretty routine. Paperwork, errands, dinner with a friend, answering emails, yadda yadda!
