Almost two hours in the Cub today, more crosswind takeoffs and landings. It was pretty bumpy out there today too, with some odd wind currents at the tree line. That's a long time for a student to work on one task, and for me just to keep the airplane somewhere on the actual runway, for that matter. ;) Ty was up for a little while today in the Luscombe, and he commented at lunch how it must have been an interesting day for the Cub. When I said we were in it for two hours doing take offs and landings, I got an eyebrow raise. It wasn't *that* bad, but I admit I was ready for a break, and maybe a nap...
My Saturday plans are looking iffy. All of ours are, actually. Steve is airboss for the Sheridan Airshow, and I was going to head to Ohio and get formation flying in. The weather is now forecasting a 40% chance of storms on Saturday both here and there, which could be an issue for everything going on that day. Urgh.
Kaylee's camp finally posted five pages of photos. There aren't any of her, except one distant one where you can see part of her head, but at least they posted pictures of the kids having fun, so you know they're still down there. ;)
Back at it...
