Happy Friday

Well, for some it's a happy Friday. Severe thunderstorms and tornadoes have blasted across a lot of the country today, wiping out a couple of towns in southern Indiana and causing wide spread damage in other states too. We were at the airport when what was in our area moved through, and as usual Kokomo escaped the worst of it. We just got a nice little thunderstorm that was through pretty quickly. Unfortunately the weather isn't done yet, so I bought a book to read since they can't keep the non-stop coverage off of the TV these days any more. This time I'll read instead of getting furious at having my show interrupted non-stop for non-new news. Winds are gusting up past 45 knots now. A little breezy. They said we are having twice as many tornadoes this year than is normal for this time of year. And then on Sunday we are expecting snow and 30s again. Gotta love Mother Nature....
