Family

Happy Birthday to our niece Rania! I hope you are having a special, fun day. :)

Today is also our son Sidney's birthday. We would have a much different household with a 13 and 11 year old set of boys in here! Thinking of and remembering our littlest angel.

We all slept in this morning, and I had myself one weird dream last night, that I woke up remembering vividly. It included Steve, me and Kaylee, a table full of desserts, Michelle and Barack Obama, and some kind of supernatural bad creepy thing happening. It would actually make for a great scary book, but unfortunately Koontz and King never ask for my opinion on what to write next. ;)

Thanks to Hurricane Irene, a group of 20 F-22s were sent to Grissom for protection. Friday as I was driving around I kept seeing the F-22s, and I thought it was the same two playing around. Nope, found out later it was them bringing their planes up here to get out of the path of the hurricane. I may have to go over to Grissom to take a picture if they're out on the ramp...welcome to Indiana, fellas.

Kaylee is still not quite herself. She's a little stuffy, a little cranky, a little sleepy, but no fever, a perfectly good appetite (which is always the biggest clue of illness with her), and enough energy. Hopefully this day off today along with sleeping in several hours will help her recup and get ready for the upcoming week...
