Whew

Well, I woke up at 4:30 a.m., worrying about the weather for a checkride today. Sure enough, it was IFR, and it waffled back and forth all day long, making you sit and stare at it all morning long, only to have to finally cancel for good just before lunch. Then you watch and wait for it to clear off enough to go up and do a little more practice. Finally around 3 p.m. we mostly had VFR conditions, so we went up and did another two hours of pretty hard practice. It was one of those days where the AWOS may say the visibility was okay, but looking out the window sure didn't make it look any good. Good to go, just need Mother Nature to cooperate for tomorrow, please!

I've been so busy I haven't had a chance to do any last-minute Christmas shopping, and I've got a full day Thursday and probably Friday, too. Well, I'll have to find time in here somewhere!

On the yikes front, I've had a stuffy nose at night and in the morning for days, since I cleaned the house really, and I half figured all the dust I got rid of plugged up my sinuses for a few days. But today I woke up sneezing my head off, nose completely blocked off, and I've been sneezing and stuffy all day long. This is not a good time to get sick, so I'm hoping it's just allergies...I've got too much to do here, man...
