I worked on BBQ Bash stuff during the morning, had a flight for 1.9 in the Saratoga in the afternoon, came home and spent over two hours helping Kaylee with math before fixing dinner, herding her into her chores, and doing some more work myself. Now it's 10 p.m. and I'm about ready for bed. :)
The flight in the Toga today is with a pre-solo student. He's getting close to soloing, and just today I realized that he'll be the first non-pilot-yet person I ever taught and soloed in a 300 hp high performance airplane. Most folks start off in more normal trainer airplanes, but he's doing fine. :)
For a couple of quotes pulled off of aviation boards:
"Life is the wheel that either grinds you down or polishes you up, depending on what you're made of. Hope to see your shiny hiney back at it in record time."
"Perseverance - The courage to ignore the obvious wisdom of turning back."
