A little fog this morning passed quicker than yesterday's fog, so KL and I got .8 of checkride prep in KS . One of my steady students isn't too far off from achieving his pilot's license ('certificate' for you nit pickers), and that's fantastic! He's sure worked very hard for it, and I can't wait until he's got that accomplishment under his belt. :)
The afternoon was spent on exciting things like billing, BBQ Bash paperwork, errands, housework, and helping Kaylee with some Math and English homework. It actually is a good thing she ran out of time to do her math at school, because when she completed the paper, I checked it, and she had a lot of small errors. Nothing big on actually knowing how to do something, but she'd still have gotten a lot of them marked wrong, and it was a good refresher for me to go over them with her first. It took her a couple of hours to do all of her homework, which stinks, but she seems to understand it at least.
I made Kaylee scrub out her bathroom sink, too. She had glitter powders and 4 different toothbrushes and 3 different toothpastes and lipglosses and hair brushes and peroxide and earrings and all manner of things stacked around her bathroom sink, which wasn't very clean. I made her put it all away except what actually needed to be on her sink, and scrub it with Ajax. NOW her bathroom looks reasonable, and she's in good shape. ;)
I'll be spending a lot of time this week with a pre-solo student, trying to get him ready for solo, and getting whatever BBQ Bash stuff I can get to, and the weather looks great for this week on top of it. Should be a busy one. :)
