Friday

It took me a little while to get going this morning, but once I did I got a fair amount of things done. I got as caught up on the end of month billing as I can until we get back. Made my errands run, and when I came home and picked up Kaylee from her grandparents, I took her with me to the store. Amazing how we ran out of every household item possible all at once. Important things like Q-tips and toilet paper and paper towels and conditioner and Oil of Old Age and cough syrup and all the stuff like that you can imagine.

Kaylee had a fun morning-she got to go shopping with Grandma & Grandpa. Steve had some "Kohl's Bucks", or a fair amount of coupons that had to be used up by tomorrow, and we couldn't think of a better person to use them up than Kaylee. ;) So she went, and they got a lovely summer dress and a new swimsuit, both of which she needed, and a pair of flip flops that matches both nicely. She was happy!

The sun was shining, the air was warm, Kaylee had a new swim suit, so she donned the suit, I hooked up the slip and slide, we let the cats outside, and we had a bit of a nice time outside for awhile. Kaylee ended up thinking the water was too cold on the slip and slide, so she did some swinging and some hanging out and just enjoying the summer day. I put a few pics up on her site, but I like this one-I think it explains it nicely. :)
