Serious Games

Kaylee got to go to Chuck E. Cheese today, which pleased her greatly. Tomorrow is Gwenie's birthday and she had a little party at the C.E.C. place with her brother and his friend, Maggie & Hannah and Kaylee, Chuck & Judy and all. Kaylee ended up with almost 500 tickets and walked away with modeling clay and a giant colorful sucker. She got to play for several hours with friends, and had a great time, while we sat and snacked and chatted. :)

Steve went off to work at a computer job for the rest of the afternoon while I did some housework and Kaylee and I watched the Cardinals lose their playoff game.

Right now we're sitting here watching the Colts playoff game against the Ravens. All I have been saying is that they'd better not lose after resting their starters for the last several games and having three weeks off, or there would be furious fans who were mad at the decision to begin with at the loss of the perfect season, and would be extra angry if it didn't even pay off towards a SuperBowl. Kaylee is watching with us, asking tons of questions about how the game works, cheering on our guys, booing on their guys, and in general getting into it pretty well. At halftime here we're ahead by ten, so I'll take it. :)

Kaylee's had such a fun day that she is running non-stop, body and mouth, even here at 9:45 p.m. I enjoy watching her bouncy and happy, but whew she's energetic sometimes! :)
