I outsmarted myself today, or un-smarted myself actually. My plan was pretty good. I was going to wait until the evening when the temps cooled down to the high 80s, then go out to Kokomo and fly the T-6. I had winds that would have made for a good healthy crosswind on one runway and fairly close into the wind on the other, and then I could put it away and close up the hangar door that had been left open because of an issue with the door, before some storms out west moved in tonight. The problem was, I didn't share the plan, so when I went out to the airport this evening it was already all buttoned up and couldn't be unbuttoned due to the door issue. I thought about taking the Baron out while I was out there, but the tug to get the plane out of the hangar was in the closed-up hangar. So I ran a couple of errands and came home instead. :)
Today was decidedly unexciting. I did some laundry, dishes, a little picking up, reading, dvd burning, photo editing, etc. Kaylee did some cleaning and some playing, Steve did some straightening and work, and right now we're watching "We Are Marshall". Mostly we're all just winding up for Monday...
