I'm so sleepy, I'm going to just make this quick and choppy.
Kaylee had a day camp that started today that she wanted to go to, so I got her there, only to find out that only three kids total out of the original 8 who signed up actually came. So the rest of the camp is cancelled. Kaylee was bummed, but happy to see her teacher and a fellow classmate at least.
After lunch, Nathan took Tim's T-6 and I took Nathan's T-6 with Stephanie in the back seat, and we went up and did some formation practice, for about an hour. Came down, had a drink and a break, and went back up for a shorter one. It was the first time I'd flown formation with similar aircraft in the T-6, using the points Duane had sent, first full formation takeoffs and such. I...really enjoyed that. So did Steph from the back seat.
Formation flying isn't for someone with ADD, that's for sure. "Trailing edge, tailwheel, oh look at that pretty bird..." Doh. :)
Afterwards, I ran to the school to make an appearance at a board meeting, in case they needed me for a quorum, which they did not. So I went home, cleaned up, and we all went to Outback for dinner, and we did it all, from cheese fries appetizer to Chocolate Thunder from Down Under dessert. After which we rolled ourselves home in a ball and sat on the couch for awhile to recuperate.
Steph, Gabe and Todd have to leave tomorrow, and I can't hardly believe they've been here this many days already. The days have Flown by (so to speak)...
