Thursday

What a beautiful weather day. It was a little painful to stay grounded today when I have so much I want to work on, but those are the breaks. :)

Let's see, I got a Flight Review from Ty. He was really tough, but we got it done. ;) There were nine of us at lunch today, including a friend I don't see very often, Jeremy, who flies for Net Jets now. We ended up spending a year at Purdue in some of the same classes, and we'd both gone to Vincennes too, though at different times. He'd flown with us when we were based out of Kokomo and Camel-Lot...

Let's see. I found book two in the Twilight series to be kind of losing my interest, nothing but 500 pages of Romeo and Juliet romantic angst and introducing a best friend as a werewolf...seeming cheesy to me even though "Lord of the Rings" and "Chronicles of Narnia" and even "Harry Potter" should prove that you can have more than one "magical" creature in a storyline just fine. I finished Eclipse tonight, book three, and liked it better. There was much more action and it kept my interest better. Three books down, the final one to go, but I don't know that I'll have time to read it for awhile since Friday and Saturday should both be pretty busy.

Kaylee couldn't sleep tonight, so she came in and cuddled up next to me for awhile in my chair with her stuffed bear, under a little blanket. After a while she looked over at me and said "You are too hot Mom, you're turned up like on HIGH. Can you turn it down a little??" It made me laugh.
