The warmer temps are coming! Today was still a sweatshirt day, but the sun was warm and the sky was blue and I almost felt human again. It's supposed to be in the 40s tomorrow, and the 50s Friday, almost 60. I'll take it.
I got all the end of the month billing stuffed, licked, stamped and sent out into the world, got a few errands run, and enjoyed a nice lunch at Half Moon with friends. After lunch, many of us went out to Kokomo where Steve had a flight with a student, and I got to left seat (fly) the Cheyenne to Muncie, with Nathan. Advancing the throttles on 2000 horsepower is always going to be on my list of favorite things to do. ;) Ty came in a Cherokee 180 to pick us up, and we had a nice, leisurely flight home. Boy, I've missed the sky...
I was going to have a trip tomorrow for/with someone, but the lack of an available airplane cancelled that idea. Just about everything we've got is down for maintenance, but the good news is that the few that aren't down for maintenance are at least fairly busy flying again on these precious few and rare doable days. I'm obviously not the only one who has missed the sky. :)
Kaylee earned another green jewel at Awanas tonight and is pleased about that, Steve is off talking to new student prospects and having a flight lesson here and there and is pleased about that, and I am doing laundry and dishes and straightening up, and I am pleased about that because 1) it needs done and 2) ...I got to fly today. ;)

"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it." ~Dr. Adrian Rogers
