Kaylee's Day

Kaylee spent the first half of her day outside with Steve. They played ball, she swept out the garage, he fired up the motorcycle and Vette and she helped him, and they let both cats outside and Kaylee did a great job watching them and making sure they were safe and secure. At one point a big gust of wind blew through, and both cats came tearing across the yard and back into the living room like their tails were on fire. She played on her playground, and they just hung out and had a good morning.

After lunch, Steve took Kaylee to meet Nathan and crew at McDonald's PlayLand, and from there they went to the hangar, rode bikes, rode on scooters, she got out her rollerblades for awhile and did that, and had a fun day. It was almost 70 degrees today, so it was perfect for some fun outdoor activities. I threw her in the bathtub, and tonight they are doing a little camp-out up front. She's had a great day of one-on-one time. :) When she finally went to bed, she fell asleep hours earlier than she normally would. Wearing out your 8-year-old...priceless. ;)
