It was a good, quiet day. I read some of my book, watched another movie, uploaded some photos to an online storage place, beat the pants off of Kaylee in Wii bowling, did a little straightening up, and relaxed. Steve fixed chicken and corn and bread for dinner, I watched the Colts win their game, Steve hung out on the deck with a friend for a little while, Kaylee played with her dolls, and life goes on.
In other people's worlds, a friend passed his Private Pilot checkride today-with winds I know gusting up to the 25 knot range and not right down the runway either-so congrats to Trey Carroll who has officially joined the ranks of the few, the proud, and the crazy. :) Maybe if he's lucky, Duane (his dad, who was his instructor) will be able to convince Trey to fly his old man around when he's frail and decrepit some day in the distant-I'm-sure future. ;)
