Friday...

This morning Kaylee and I got up and went out to Kokomo and met Nathan and Jamie there. We flew the Baron over to Muncie, and we heard several of our other guys flying around at the same time. Steve C. was in the 172 bringing it to MIE for radio work, my Steve was up in the RG doing instrument work with a guy, and KS was up flying too, though not at Muncie. It was just a nice morning for it. Nathan took the Cheyenne up on a test flight while I hung out with the kids, and then I flew us back to Kokomo to drop off some batteries. At this point we were running late for lunch, so we piled back in the Baron and Nathan flew us into Glenndale. Today was Burger Day, and Chuck did an excellent job as always. :)

We made it back to Kokomo, where Kaylee and Jamie played while the rest of us let them ;), until I needed to leave and run a few errands. When Kaylee bought me the gold shoes, she had found a pair of shoes she wanted too, but hadn't been able to get them right then. So I took her back today so she could buy her white heels. Four-inch wedge heel with white ribbon you tie up the legs. $3.99 plus tax. She was quite happy. A few more errands, a run home, and it was back out to Kokomo by 6.

This evening was a trip to the Chicago area. That had to be the easiest trip I've ever taken to that area. They were fairly quiet, they weren't that busy, they changed our routing a few times but it was all easy stuff, the weather that could have been an issue just wasn't, the bumpy air that was there earlier just wasn't, the sun was out, and all in all it was just a nice little trip. I got to see the sun setting by the Chicago skyline and the orange moon rising after dark on the same day. Nice...

Sorry this is so factual, stilted, and uninteresting, but I'm sleepy. Or that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it, anyway. ;) *yawn*
