Well, Sun-N-Fun and air show season is coming up rapidly, and my little "fits in my pocket and takes video clips" camera was still missing, until yesterday. I found it...at Best Buy. It morphed into a lovely bronze-colored Canon PowerShot with lots of handy little features, that fits so nicely in my purse, my pocket, or anywhere else I want to store it easily. Of course this probably makes it very easy to lose as well, but it also has a nice little wrist strap so I'll pretend that will help. I like it. I wish I had found my Lumix instead, but what can I say, I like it a lot.
I met an interesting grinning dude at Sam's Club this morning. Some man in jeans and a flannel shirt and a ball cap was staring at me in one of the aisles, with this huge grin on his face. I did a double-take, and then moved into another aisle. So did he. He said hello, as did I, and then I started walking towards another aisle-I looked back once and he was still standing there grinning after me. I asked if I could help him, and he just shook his head, still grinning. O-o-o-kay. I guess he found my Glenndale sweatshirt amusing...
I was at Sam's Club to stock up on some stuff for the weekend at the hangar. The American Bonanza Society has a handful of guys here for their formation training, and Nathan hosts them in his hangar. They arrived tonight, and I went out there to drop off hamburger buns, chips, lots of drinks, water for coffee, that kind of stuff. Nathan and Chuck were out there and the formation guys had just started their evening briefing, so we went out to eat at Outback. A nice way to end the day. :)
Kaylee had a substitute teacher today, and as of now she is officially on Spring Break, and quite thrilled about it...
