Tuesday

It's a Tuesday, and I considered a Top Ten, but by the time I got ready to get online and do it, I was too tired to be even marginally creative. Maybe I will perk up later, but for now, you get: "This Was My Day!"

Hmm. Even that doesn't sound very stimulating to me. Bank, post office (twice), office, lunch at Ruby Tuesday's, office, school, home. I should have gone to the store but didn't feel like it. As Chuck said this morning, "I had trouble getting a bed off my back this morning." Yes, precisely! We woke up to dark and drear, and we all had trouble waking up. Kaylee wore an outfit that should have woken everyone up though. A multi-colored striped shirt, a faded short blue jean skirt, and under that a pair of (differently colored) multi-colored huge-flowered pants. Topped off by brown and pink boots. Wow. That's all I could say to that combination. Wow. I almost can't believe even I let her go in public dressed that way.

Once I got her home, we spent the next four hours on homework. Yes, four hours. This is why I am now tired and cranky and considering pouting or even grumping around. Funnily enough, Kaylee is cheerful and she's the one that had to do all the work. She's a good girl. We all sang Happy Birthday to Tanner on speakerphone tonight, and she chatted with him for a bit too.

I do believe I will work on some of that 20 pounds of chocolate from my basket (did I mention I actually weighed it?) Maybe I'll come back with a Top Ten later. Or not. I'm sure you'll all be holding your breath waiting. ;)
