Original title, but I'm feeling very not-creative at the moment. ;)
I worked on some email and phone call conversations this morning, and finished just in time to run some papers out in one direction and then run to lunch at Arby's with Joe, Ty, Steve C., Steve, and Chuck. After lunch I went back to Glenndale and entered time sheets until it was time to grab Kaylee from school, work on her homework (well, SHE worked on her homework, not me!), and go to ballet class. Steve and I swapped at this point, and he came to ballet until she was done and took her to cheer practice, while I went back out to Glenndale for an AFA (Air Force Association) monthly meeting.
Steve and I used to be members of the AFA but didn't really find the time to attend most of the events, so we let our membership expire. Not too long ago we renewed it, so I decided to go to tonight's meeting. The AFA used to meet at a hangar at Kokomo, but that hangar became unavailable, so they started meeting out at Glenndale in our extra room, and most of them really seem to like that. I'm glad we have facilities they can utilize. Chuck went with me tonight, and it was actually kind of fun. I talked about the Kokomo FTC and what we're going to offer, answered some questions, talked to several of the members, and had some good food. I even knew more of the people than I thought I would. I kind of thought Dale and Chuck would be the only two I'd know since Nathan decided to go home instead of wait for the meeting, but I actually knew a few others too, which was nice, and everyone was very friendly. :)
At this point, we swapped again, and Steve came out to Glenndale to work on billing while I went to cheer to get Kaylee and take her home to finish homework, eat, and go to bed. Whew! These Mondays are nuts sometimes. :)
Tomorrow is supposed to be "Pajama Day" at Kaylee's school, and we have her PJs all ready to go. Unfortunately, there is an 80% chance of ice pellets, sleet, icy rain, and snow tomorrow. So the one cool school day she'll have had for awhile has a very good chance at being in peril of happening at all.
As for me, I'm going to go stuff all the bills for the airport so I can get them in the mail first thing in the morning (income is good!), so I guess I'd best get started...
