I didn't even know it was supposed to snow-which shows how closely I've kept an eye on the weather these last couple of days. We woke up to a blanket of snow, so I checked the school closings, and Kaylee's school was on a 2-hour delay. No problem, a more leisurely breakfast works for all of us. As I was getting ready to take Kaylee to school later that morning, my phone rang and it was the teacher who was calling all her students to let them know school had been cancelled altogether for the day. Kaylee did a "Yippeeeeeeeeee!" :)
She was patient with me today as I worked on a bunch of stuff, and around noon we went to lunch with Steve and Chuck. We were done and getting ready to leave when we got two more participants for lunch, so we hung out for another hour before deciding to head off and be productive. And productive I was, indeed.
This evening I ran out to Kokomo airport with Kaylee and dropped off a stack of flyers announcing the upcoming new Flight School location. She fell asleep in the back seat of the car, and stayed asleep for something like 40 minutes, poor thing. While I was at the airport, a gentleman came in who was asking if the airport provided flight training. I was happy to talk with him for a few minutes and send him on his way with a flyer and some info. And away we go.
After that I dropped her off at Awanas and Steve and I went to dinner; now she's in bed and I'm fighting off sleep myself...
