Indy

Well, we're in Indianapolis for the weekend. Kaylee's cheerleading competition is tomorrow morning at the Convention Center down here, so we came down early to have a little fun in the "big city" before the event. We're at the Embassy Suites, in a nice suite. Kaylee has her own room, and we have our own room with a view of the Hilton next door. ;) We're up on the 9th floor, which Kaylee found fascinating and Steve found slightly disturbing. The glass elevators and the open pathway around to the rooms makes it fun for anyone not as thrilled with heights. I liked looking up/down 20 floors myself, but that's just me. And Kaylee. ;)

We ate out at a steakhouse downtown here tonight, as I've been having cravings for a nice medium-rare steak. Cravings officially satisfied, and I think I'll even get to bed early tonight.

Tomorrow we head to the Convention Center for the competition; our hotel has a little gerbil tube that takes us from it through the mall and into the Center, so we don't have to drive or walk outside to get to where we need to go tomorrow. Works for us...
