The Regrets Lists

As seen on another blog.

(Interjection--You know, I only have one, perhaps two things I really, truly regret, and I'm not posting them on the internet. So anything else is 'second tier'. And therefore I "don't" regret most things I've done or not done, making the second list rather long. Even things I should have done differently ended up making me in part who I am today. Oh well, we'll see what I get.)

Five Things I Regret:
1. My love affair with chocolate.
2. Not letting go of a few...mental musings...and a few people more quickly.
3. Blue eye shadow & peach formal gowns (not at the same time at least) in the late 1980s.
4. Sometimes...my big mouth and its apparent need to talk/type when it should be Still.
5. Distance.

Five Things I Don't Regret:
1. My love affair with chocolate.
2. Learning how to not just be passively stubborn, but actively immovable when the occasion demands.
3. My sons and their lives, short as they may have been.
4. Taking my Private Pilot checkride rather than leaving the school out of fear of failing the test. (Almost funny now, but true.)
5. Taking Risks. I almost never regret what I do, and almost always 'regret' what I don't do.

Anyone else care to do the list? Go for it. If nothing else, it's good for a little introspection. :)
