Sort of.
It was a busy, non-stop day. Went over Kaylee's verse with her before school, and after I dropped her off I just headed home and went to work. Several loads of laundry, dishes, and then I decluttered several areas that needed it. That took me up through lunch, where I decided to stop and take a break even though I was on a roll. We met up at Culvers, after which I stopped at the post office. You don't try to park in the post office's parking lot, or you'll be in a huge line. You park at the bank next door, and walk across the snow, and you're in right away. Well, in the DOOR anyway. Not so much in the building. I have a package I'm supposed to pick up, but the line was too long, so I'll wait for tomorrow morning when it isn't as busy. I went home, and...worked. I put my iPod in and went to town, and I worked straight for over two hours, until it was time to pick up Kaylee and take her to gymnastics. From gymnastics I brought her home, had her do her homework, fed her, had her clean up several areas in her room, and I...worked some more. I took a break for a little while in the evening, and then back to work, until past 11 p.m. Right now my muscles are already sore, and I'm tired, but I got a lot of stuff done. I have more to do. I'm doing a couple of big projects at once, but I'll be glad when they're done. Maybe I'll talk about them some other night, but for tonight I'm too tired and worn out.
One thing I realized; after Steve left is when I put in my iPod, and the door was locked, and I realized why I don't do that more often. I don't like the fact that should someone walk right up behind me, I'd never hear them coming. The treadmill gives me the same feeling, because I can't hear over it and the music. Same reason I lock the bathroom door when I take a shower, even if I'm alone in the house. I don't like to be sneaked up on, what can I say. ;)
