I came home and worked for a couple of hours, and then headed out to Kokomo Airport where I met up with Nathan, Chuck and Steve. We took the Baron to do a little testing of
the fuel flow system which had been worked on in Missouri for the last month or so. I flew and would stop at various altitudes while Nathan would record the data. We ended up at Muncie where we ate a tasty lunch, then walked over and checked on the 172RG, which is there to get the voice warning system put in for the gear. When we left Muncie, we flew over to Huntington to check on the T-6 and its progress. The center section is painted and ready to be attached when it's time, the canopy and windscreen will be put on this week, the instruments are almost all in for the front and back seats both, and it's looking good! Some comedian had stuck a mini Christmas tree out of a 'stack' on the front of the plane next to ours. They said it was to help promote the Christmas spirit in there, and I think it works for me. ;)We left Huntington and came back home, in plenty of time for everybody's schedule. Chuck cleaned up the plane a little, Nathan took the cowlings off to look for oil on one engine and to replace an alternator belt on the other engine. You know, just 'stuff'. I headed out and picked up Kaylee from school and had a hard time getting her to tell me about her field trip other than that she had a fun time and bought a rabbit fur skin because it's soft and pretty. We stopped at Steak & Shake for dinner, Steve is working late, Kaylee's in bed, and I'm starting the "stuff and lick" process of the airport bills to get in the mail first thing tomorrow morning.
One thing, on our way home from school, Kaylee read the sign at the stoplight that said "No Turn On Red." She says "No turn on red? That should say 'No TurnING on red'! The people that made that sign are out of high school and I'm just in first grade and *I* know THAT." She is starting early, I'd say. ;)
It was a fun day for a cold Tuesday. It felt nice to fly the Baron again, too. And sometime tonight we're supposed to get 1-2" of snow, our first of the season...

LOL. Time to give Kayle her very own Sharpie so that she can start correcting signs in shop windows and such. ;-)
