My "It's Not Even 9 a.m. Yet" Post

You wouldn't think that much would happen before the day even got started, now would you. ;)

The temperatures here went from 90 degrees two days ago to a high of 56 today. Man, let the sniffles begin. (But it feels good to me.)

I had just dropped Kaylee off at school and was on my way home, when I saw an altercation between two cars. A guy in a red four-door Chevy had his arm and, er, finger, waving out the window, screaming, his face the color of his car, obviously a tad...distressed. The object of his ire was a black pick-up truck, the driver with that "oh brother" look on his face, mostly ignoring the enraged driver. As I got closer to the two, I noticed the three bumper stickers on Angry Red Chevy's car, and I groaned. "I serve an AWESOME GOD!" was the biggest one. Thank you for your amazing 'testimony', sir. *sigh*

I stopped at the post office to mail out a check for some candles (Hey, if you like Soy Candles, which burn really clean, not smoky, and smell great, email me. There's an SMA Support fundraiser for these Mia Bella candles, and they really are my favorites. There are about 70 different scents and I haven't found one I don't like yet. I also love how they burn down without that black sooty mess on the jar. The fundraiser ends Monday, so get a hold of me if you want any. $19 per 16 oz jar.)

Finally, for my pre-9 a.m. post...eh hem:
Steve locked his keys in the Jeep. Steve locked his keys in the Jeep. Na na na na na. Neener neener. Hee hee. Ha!

Okay, while it gets some points that he locked them in at all, and that he locked them in last night and never knew it until he tried to leave this morning, it also loses a lot of points because he was sitting in his own driveway, just had to walk inside and get the spare key, and go on his merry way. He didn't have to call his spouse at 8 pm after a long day and have her drive 20 minutes out to go get him. But...did I mention Steve locked his keys in the Jeep?

Thank you, thank you very much...
;)
