Oops, I forgot yesterday was Tuesday!
Ten Things About Summer. Anything at all, as long as it's got something to do with summer. Things you love, things you hate, things you plan to accomplish, summer vacation plans.
I dislike:
1. Being hot, muggy and sweaty.
2. Shorts and swimsuit season.
I love:
3. Hot dogs and burgers on the grill.
4. Kaylee catching Fireflies and falling asleep with them lighting up a jar by her bed.
5. Visits with family and friends.
6. Kaylee proud of herself for not being afraid of the water any more. Running through sprinklers, dunking in friends' pools, swimming in the lake.
7. The coolness that often preceeds a strong summer thunderstorm with rumbling thunder and fierce wind and vivid lightening and drenching rain-followed by the sweet smell of clean air that usually follows.
8. Fireworks! Doing them, watching them, and watching my daughter do them and watch them.
9. The sunshine-how early it comes up and how late it stays up. Light is good!
10. Photo Ops-all the vacations, trips, visits, holidays, and fun stuff that make for fun photo opportunities for me to take way too many pictures. I do like summer. :)
