Productive Mornings

One thing I have to say for the advocates of early risers; getting up and getting out of the house really does usually help you accomplish quite a bit.

This morning, Kaylee stayed with her Grandma & Grandpa while I ran to Glenndale, where Chuck flew me to Sheridan in the Citabria so I could take the 172RG back to Kokomo, fill it back up with fuel, and fly with Bryce for a bit doing CFI checkride prep. Back to Kokomo, put away the RG, and Chuck comes and picks me up in the Citabria to take me back to Glenndale where my car is. By the time we do all that and eat lunch, it's almost 2 pm. It was 90 degrees today (at least), and right now at 5 pm the heat index is 100, so I'm sure it was much worse earlier. Have I mentioned my dislike of hot, muggy, and sweaty??

One funny thing. The guy I was flying with, I don't remember what I said, but he said "No, no, it's too early for that." I said "Early? It's 10:30!" He said "I know, but technically that's still morning. I'm not much of a morning person." I almost clapped my hands-I was finally not the droopiest person in a room during the a.m. hours!

One more thing. The Random Flight School Memories; I don't have too many more to put up. After all, some memories should be kept to oneself. ;) Soon you won't have to wade through RFSM posts any more. Not today though. But I will do a short and sweet one just for you.
