You know, I've been really enjoying reading a few people's Tuesday Top Ten Lists. Each week it's a Top Ten something else-thus my Top Ten Pet Peeves List. I like the idea-it makes you think, and it's kind of fun. So here are my Top Ten current I Wonders:
I Wonder:
1. If we will ever get our living room fully painted and if once we do we will regret the dark color.
2. What Kaylee will be when she grows up. Right now she really loves being a waitress. She claims to want to be a teacher as well. And an actress. And a dancer. And a fairy. I'm a little scared.
3. What I will be when I grow up. Right now I really love being an aviator (and hope to do it until they pry my headset out of my cold...hands). And a mom. And an SMA family advocate. Some day I might like to be a photographer. Or an author. Or a professional book reader for the Library of Congress. Or a fairy. It would be nice to have my own set of wings and not have to pay gas. Kaylee has a point.
4. Where Roadie is peeing in my house. I know she piddles but she's too smart to do it in front of me any more. Where is it?? Or...could it really be...could she have stopped for real??
5. Why I'm doing a Top Ten List that requires thought at 12:30 a.m. I am going to be very tired tomorrow if I don't get in bed soon!
6. Why the Three Stooges are funny. I don't think it's funny for three half-brained men to slap each other around and poke each other in the eyes. I never did get it. Apparently I am a total fuddy duddy. *sigh*
7. When our weather is going to be normal. Snow, ice, rain, snow, rain, ice, thunderstorms, snow, and that's just the last week. Come on, cut it out, you're driving me nuts!
8. Why I'm so interested in murder mystery things. TV shows like NCIS and CSI and Criminal Minds. Book authors like James Patterson and Patricia Cornwell and Jonathan Kellerman. I like the psychology of figuring out people, the science of forensics, pathology, it's all interesting to me. Why? Not because I have spent decades doing research for the time I might need it, of course not! ;)
9. How Peyton Manning will do on Saturday Night Live. He's hosting sometime coming up and he's nervous about it, and I think he's cute and it'll be fun to watch him try to do a live comedy show.
10. What kind of world this is going to be in another 50 years. I can't expand on this right now, it's too late and I'm too tired. But I'll be 85 (hopefully!) and Kaylee will be 56, maybe with grandchildren of her own. Knowing how different the world is from when MY grandmother was my age to the age she is now, I just wonder what we'll be looking at in 50 years...
