We were running all day. From 8:30 am I picked up Steve at the dealer's place after he dropped Kaylee's car off to be repaired from being rear-ended. Took us out to the airport, where she and I took the Aerostar to Indy, the Cirrus to Michigan City, then the Aerostar home. Left there fairly quickly took the Aerostar to Delphi to pick up Ethan B, and dropped him off in Williams's County, OH to pick up his Cherokee Six out of maintenance. Then flew back home. By that time it was after 3 pm and neither of us had eaten since the day before. We went in her car to town to eat, because Steve needed my car back at the airport as Kaylee had HIS car because hers was in the shop. lol
Morgan drove me past J Edwards where I picked up an Italian Sweet Cream cake, a tiny one I got for myself for my birthday. See, Meijer used to have these little Meijer Italian Sweet Cream cakes that were Delicious!! I loved them, and I used to get one each year on my birthday. Meijer doesn't seem to carry them any more. I found that J Edwards said they had one so I ordered a little one. Morgan ran me past there to pick it up, and then home, where we had a small piece. Unfortunately it is completely not the same, and not nearly as good. Who knew a Meijer cake would be better than a J Edwards cake!?
From there we ran to McCallister's to eat real food for the first time in 24 hours. Man I was hungry. And it was good.
That ended up being my dinner, because we didn't eat until about 5 pm. By then, Steve got done and drove my car to meet us at McCallister's, and I left with him.
The car shuffle continued today. I slept in this morning, and so did Steve. But the weather messed with my head, and I wasn't feeling as well today. Kaylee took Steve's car, Steve took my car, and I stayed home. At 2:30, I had Kaylee pick me up at home and she drove us to Enterprise, where she picked up a red hybrid car to drive, that insurance pays for, while her vehicle gets repaired. Then I drove Steve's car home, she drove her new car home, and Steve drove my car back to the house to pick me up to take us to dinner with Chuck, AE, and Jeff Petty. I drove my own car home, and finally we are all back in our own vehicles. ;)
Steve's phone screws up my car. He's sitting in the house while I drive past in the driveway and my car connects to HIS phone, not mine, sitting in the car. And then my screen gets all screwed up. The screen like...melts. Pixelates. And gets worse and worse until it's unreadable. It's the weirdest danged thing. Rebooting the car, nothing works. I just have to shut down, go away and wait I don't know how long. Overnight usually. And then my car will hook up to my own phone and the screen will be fine. Why is this? What is this sorcery??
Kaylee and I are juicing some carrots and green apples tonight. She had a craving, and it's a "good for you" juice, so why not. Then I'm watching some TV, and tomorrow is "go fly a Sonex with Morgan" morning, before going to Angry Donkey with family for my birthday dinner now that none of us are currently (very) sick. ;)
Morgan and I at the coffee shop before our drinks arrived
Lake Michigan in the Cirrus
The start of my screen melting down. It becomes a big blob shortly after that
