Florida IV

This weekend we spent at home, relaxing, hanging out. Saturday Kaylee wanted to have us come over to her house and hang out and cook holiday things, so we did a brunch with gluten free pancakes, bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, OJ, strawberries, etc. That put us into a food coma. We sat and watched football, and I passed out. I was so tired from the busy couple of days that add food to that and I wiped out for like a 2-hour nap. It was impressive! The next morning we all slept in, Steve did household stuff, and I didn't do much of anything except prepare for Monday's flights.

Today was that day. I was up at 6 am, and drove out to Marion, where it was 17 degrees. I had them let me into the hangar so I could preflight in there, and then once we pulled it out, we fired up and got started asap. We were able to go non-stop down with a nice tailwind, and then had to stop for fuel in Georgia with the four of them on board with a now not-nice headwind. The winds at one point were over 100 knots, part headwind, part crosswind at least.

Uneventful, good weather, no problems.

In Florida I got a text from MBros asking if I could run a trip tomorrow. I can, so I said sure. So at 6:30 am tomorrow I head to S. Carolina. Then Wednesday or Thursday I have a Concrete flight, and then Friday I run Caleb back down to Florida.

Our Christmas party is Saturday the 7th, and Steve has a ton of work to do to get ready for it, including getting the hangar all hung with lights and decorated, food and supplies ordered, etc.  He's scrambling, busy enough with his own stuff, and add in this. And I'm gone most of the week, so not much help other than bringing in money, which always helps. ;)

Kaylee plugged her toilet up this morning, texted us, had to leave for work, so Steve went over and unclogged it, and told her she'd better say he's the best landlord ever.  Ha.

Molly the cat wasn't mad at Kaylee at all for being gone, she was super affectionate and cuddly as normal right out of the gate. Kaylee said she really IS the perfect cat.
