Ohio

Everything worked out well today. I was really tired when the alarm went off at 6 am, especially since I had woken up at 5 am and couldn't go back to sleep. Two early mornings in a row are tough. But tomorrow morning I don't have to get up for anything, so I shall sleep in and enjoy it.

I drove to Frankfort at 7, flew the Conquest over to Kokomo, picked up Kevin and Zack, and flew them to Chillicothe, Ohio. Dropped them off and had to pay a $65 landing fee in the middle of nowhere, Ohio, for no services. Hopped over from there to Clermont County, OH, which is where Sporty's is based. Picked up Ethan there, and flew with him back to Frankfort. All good.  Drove back to Kokomo and met Steve, Chuck and Ty for lunch at Grindestone's. Drove out to Kokomo Airport, hopped in the Cheyenne with Brennan, one of our 'kids', and flew back over to Chillicothe to pick up Kevin & Zack and fly them back home. Brennan is a good kid. I let him fly us over, and I flew us home with the passengers on board. He detailed the inside of my car, which it needed badly, and it looks great!  Morgan says he's scared of me.  I wish that wasn't the case, I'm not that scary!

Steve, Morgan and I went to Pastarrific for dinner, and Kaylee ended up there with her friend Eden and her husband, sat at the table right behind us as we were getting ready to leave. Right now she's next door with her friends playing board games and just hanging out. That's a good thing, a break from work or being home alone for her. I wish she could find a friend who lived nearby who was single and wanted to go do stuff. Most of her friends are now married and/or have kids and are in their own circles. Or live far away. She's always been a social person, so it's hard for her to feel alone. I'm an introvert, I like being alone, and even I remember the time frames where I felt really lonely in an area without friends. She's an adult and I still wish I could fix things for my kid. I'd like to set her up with a play date. Harder to do when they're 23. ;)
