Ohio

It was the day to help fix the 340. Since I didn't want to fly it over to Ohio without brakes, I took the Aerostar, left Kokomo, headed to William's County Airport, picked up Steve F. and his son and their large toolbox and a compressor, which made us pretty heavy, and flew them to Frankfort so they could fix the 340's brake seals, fluid, etc.  While they worked on it, I drove over to Jimmy Johns and picked up lunch for everybody.  They finished up in the early afternoon, and I flew them back home, then went back to Kokomo and topped back off on Ethan, and was done. It took most of the day, but at least I now have a flyable airplane for tomorrow's trip to Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Haven't heard from Kaylee today other than pictures of cats. Steve's on a Zoom call right now with the CAF, which is his favorite thing to do, have meetings. ;)  Right after he spent all day working on billing, statements, etc., his other least favorite thing to do, right after he spent days working on taxes, his absolute least favorite thing to do. So he's not having a very nice birthday week.  He turns 65 in 5 days. We don't have anything planned, and I can't think of anything to do, either, which annoys me. I'd like to do something special for his birthday.

I ordered in Japanese tonight, noodles and filet and crab rangoon, and it was all quite good.

Tomorrow is Grand Rapids, MI. Should be a good day.
