Welp

Kaylee is doing her own tax forms at the moment, and calling for advice. She also, as of the end of the month, will be taking on almost all of her own expenses, and continuing the process of adulting. She's looking into houses, too, working on a budget, all the things. It's been educational for her, learning about all the various expenses involved, budgeting, etc.  In the meantime, her apartment lease expires in November, and she is actually going to move next door for a year or so while she continues to get her finances in order and save up towards buying a house. It surprises me that she wants to buy a house so bad when she doesn't even know where she's going to end up for sure working in the end. But she insists she'll sell it if she has to, and buy elsewhere, but she doesn't want to live very far away from here anyway, no matter where she ends up working. Carmel, Ft. Wayne, whatever, but central Indiana is where she wants to plant herself.  We shall see, but she's doing well so far with what she's doing, and she's excited about starting the new job on the 19th, and a steady paycheck, and furthering herself in her chosen career.

Me, I had a trip to Lexington, KY early this morning, and then a run over to Rantoul, IL. Didn't get home until almost 7 pm, and then I have two legs tomorrow. Alpina, Michigan and back, starting at 7:30 (so leaving my house at 6:30 so getting up at 5:45 am), and then over to St. Louis at 5 pm and home around 10-11 pm. Long day, with likely bad weather coming. 

When I walked in the house tonight, the garage was open, the lights left on, come in the house and the house lights are on, the TV is on, our bedroom light is on, and several of our long guns are on the bed. I go up front and the piano is pulled away and the bench pulled out, and the guest bedroom TV is on. I'm like...WHAT is happening here? Steve's not home, and now it's 8:30 pm, and I'm like...what? Come to find out, he had an appointment with the cable guy, and then ran late and had to run to the airport for a meeting and just left everything.  I checked my phone to make sure I wasn't supposed to go to war somewhere, or that the rapture hadn't happened or something. lol

Welp. It's 11 pm and I have to get up at 5:45 am, so...bedtime.
