Day One of Sun-n-Fun passed. We didn’t do any rides, but we enjoyed the day outside in the sun and the wind at the airshow, with free food and drink for us “performers” and volunteers.
3 of the 5 Gunfighter pilots are here, with their wives, and everyone hung out today, along with the Indiana and BOB crew. We all went to dinner at Ford’s Garage tonight, good food, lots of laughing.
I ripped my pants climbing into BOB first thing this morning, and have walked around with a rip in my right thigh all day hoping nobody saw it. I hung out by the plane, talked to folks, tried to sell rides, and enjoyed the views.
Hoping tomorrow we get some riders. We need them if we came all the way to FL, have hotel rooms, etc. Fingers crossed.
Am tired though. Airshow season always makes me tired…usually in a good way.
