Still Alive

I've just been flying.  Yesterday I took Nick and Stephen to Spart, MI, Davenport, IA, Marion, OH, and home.  Took all day.  I got got a courtesy car in Michigan and went to a little diner that you knew you went to the right place because the parking lot on this "dive" was packed out and people were parking down the block.  Yep.  Good stuff.  ;)

Today I flew the Cheyenne down to Kissimmee, FL to pick up Ethan who dropped off the Conquest to the mechanic for some work on the boots, left engine, and a couple gauges.  We got a tour of the state of Florida getting in.  SO busy.  I picked up Ethan, and hopped over to Marco Island, where I picked up Andy and his wife, and flew them all back to Frankfort.  Dropped them off at 5:30 pm, got back to Kokomo and had the line guy top the plane off so it'll be ready to go back to Kissimmee on Saturday to pick up Kevin.

Met up with Steve for dinner at Marble, and had an excellent meal, which I needed. No snacks, no fast food, good stuff.

Got home, did the logbook and receipts and emails and billing and then started prepping for tomorrow's flights.  Taking the 340 because the Conquest is gone for a week, and taking two guys to Illinois and Kentucky.  It'll be another 7-8 hour day tomorrow.  Good for the pocket book.  Then I'll probably have a day off.

Beautiful Sunrise

I really wanted to climb this but there were too many people around

Fritos at 35000' puff up a little bit

Daytona Beach and Daytona race track and airport down there. Last time I was there I flew the twin Beech on rides there.

Lots of Chem-I mean Con-trails today.  Florida was full.
